Fresh off his big victory in Macau, APT ambassador Nam Le has cashed in yet again at a major poker tournament. The Vietnamese-American poker pro finished 24th overall at the WPT’s Borgata Poker Open this past week to win himself USD $26,000 in prize money. Just two weeks ago, Nam and fellow APT ambassador Quinn Do dominated the APPT Macau High Rollers event to finish first and third, respectively.
Nam Le is one of the Asian Poker Tour’s poker ambassadors. Joined by fellow APT representatives JC Tran and Quinn Do, he represents the Asian Poker Tour at poker tournaments and events all over the world. At only 25, he is already considered by many to be a major threat at live tournaments. Nam already has a couple of first place finishes under his belt – the 2006 Bay 101 Shooting Star WPT Championship and the 2006 Scotty Nguyen Poker Challenge II, as well top place finishes in several WSOP ® and WPT events. He recently topped the APPT Macau High Rollers event to win USD $474,358. Le’s total winnings to date exceed USD $4.3 million.
