o This type of tournament was introduced by the Asian Poker Tour for the first time in the 2009 APT Philippines (The chop was done when there were 4 players left).
o Regardless of how many players enter this tournament, the prize pool will be divided into 10 equal shares at the close of registration and posted.
o Once the final 10 players have been reached, each player will be asked if they want to divide the prize pool equally amongst the 10 players. If at least one player objects, then the tournament will continue until another player is eliminated. At this point, the 9 remaining players will be asked if they wish to divide the prize money equally.
o This process continues until:
- no player objects and the prize pool is equally shared amongst the remaining players, or
- only one player remains who will win the entire prize pool
o Note: All decisions for the division of the prize pool can only be made right after a player is eliminated, with the exception of Heads Up play. At this point in the tournament, the two remaining players are able to strike a deal to divide the prize pool equally at any point in time during their Heads Up play.
